Make music on your phone with no subscription and no ads
No monthly renewal to remember to cancel, no videos between takes. Try everything for seven days, then keep going for free or pay once.
- No subscription: pay once, €9.99 in Europe
- No ads, whether you pay or not
- What you make stays on your phone and keeps playing
PadLoop is a music making app with no subscription and no ads. Install it and start playing, with 7 days where everything is unlocked. Then it's your pick: keep it free forever with 2 pad banks, 2 looper tracks and one project, or unlock everything with a single purchase, at a one-time price shown in your currency in the store (€9.99 in Europe). No renewals, no ads, no account.
How it works, in three steps
- Days 1–7: trial with everything unlocked, plugins included.
- From day 8: free forever, with 2 banks, 2 looper tracks and one project.
- Whenever you like: one purchase that unlocks everything for good.
There's no step four. No renewal, no yearly plan, no "pro" tier that costs more each month. The price in the store is what you pay, once. Every detail is on the price and FAQ page.
Install it and start playing, no sign-up: 7 days with everything unlocked and no charge at the end.On iPhone: in MORE tap the top row, then Start the free trial. It costs nothing and does not renew.
Get PadLoopNo ads, for anyone
Not in the free version, not during the trial, not after the purchase. You don't pay to remove them, because there's nothing to remove.
For musicians that matters more than it sounds: a banner above the pads steals room from your fingers, and a video popping up between takes breaks your focus. Here there's nothing between you and the pads.
What you can really do for free
The free version isn't a demo that stops working. When the trial ends you keep playing with:
- banks A and B: 32 pads full of sounds, a complete synthesized kit and a trap kit with tuned 808s, with touch dynamics
- the Keyboard, which puts any sound in a scale across the pads
- note repeat, the arpeggiator and hold-down effects
- 2 looper tracks, microphone included, with the step sequencer to fix your hits
- MIDI controllers and pedals, to play and record without touching the screen
- one project, saved automatically
Previews of the Ready banks and Ready beats can always be played, so you hear what's there before deciding. If you mess up banks A or B, Factory A and Factory B bring them back as new. To get started, see the drum pad page.
What the one-time purchase unlocks
One purchase opens everything: the full sampler, all 8 banks (128 pads), up to 16 tracks in the looper, 558 sounds in the Sound library, 29 Ready banks, 24 Ready beats, every plugin (Stem split to split songs, sound kits and instruments with real notes), export to MP3, WAV or separate tracks, performance recording, unlimited projects with file backup, and your own saved banks.
Plugins aren't extra purchases: they're included and you download them from MORE → Plugins only when you need them.
What happens when the trial ends?
No charge: the trial ends on its own and you're back on the free version. The strip at the top shows the days left, and on the last day the app lets you know.
- On Android it starts on first launch, with no sign-up and no card. It works once per device.
- On iPhone you start it yourself: in MORE tap the top row, then Start the free trial. It's a zero-price App Store purchase, Apple's way of offering a trial without a subscription.
What you made stays and keeps playing, even on tracks beyond the second, and projects from the trial always open. If you buy later, everything is where you left it; if you change phones, your purchase follows you with Restore purchases. Every detail is on the price and FAQ page.
No sign-up, and your data stays on your phone
PadLoop asks for no email and has no sign-up: the purchase goes through the store account you already have. Recordings, sampled sounds, banks and projects stay in the app's private storage and leave only when you export or share them. Usage statistics stay off until you answer Yes to the first-launch question, and you can change that in MORE. Details in the privacy policy.
And because everything is on the phone, PadLoop works as an offline beat maker, on a plane too. Internet is only needed to download plugins and for the store, when you buy or restore.
How to spot a subscription before you install
This works for any app. Before downloading, open the store listing and check the in-app purchases: they list what you can buy and for how much. Look for "monthly", "yearly", "weekly" and "renews". Then check what happens when the trial ends: if you have to enter payment details to start it, a charge usually follows.
In PadLoop there's only one purchase, the full version. Nothing monthly, nothing yearly.
Questions about subscriptions and ads
Is there a music making app without a subscription?
Yes. PadLoop is a one-time purchase with no subscription at all. You can try it for 7 days with everything unlocked first, and afterwards it stays free forever with 2 banks, 2 tracks and one project.
Is there a free music making app with no ads?
PadLoop has no ads, not even in the free version. After the 7-day trial it stays free forever with banks A and B, 2 looper tracks and one project; the rest unlocks with a single purchase.
Is PadLoop a one-time purchase?
Yes. The full version is a one-time price, shown in your currency in the store (€9.99 in Europe). You pay once and keep it for good: nothing monthly, nothing yearly.
Do I need to sign up or create an account?
No. PadLoop has no accounts and asks for no email. The purchase goes through Google Play or the App Store, like any app.
Is PadLoop for listening to music offline?
PadLoop is for making music: a drum pad, looper and sampler for playing and recording your own tracks. All of it works offline.
Does the free trial turn into a subscription?
No. The trial lasts 7 days, ends on its own and charges nothing. On Android it starts on first launch with no payment details; on iPhone it's a zero-price App Store purchase.
Do I have to pay again on a new phone?
No. Sign in with the same store account and in MORE, on the top row, tap Restore purchases. Projects live on the phone, though: export them to a backup file before you switch (backup is part of the full version).
What do I lose if I don't buy after the trial?
Nothing you've made: recorded loops keep playing and projects still open. You only lose the full features: the sampler, Split a song, loading Ready beats and Ready banks, saved banks, backup, export, tracks beyond the second and new projects.
